Terms of use
These terms apply when you use the VeriVet app and website, provided by One AiQ, Lda., Portugal. By using VeriVet you agree to them.
Draft pending legal review by One AiQ, Lda. It describes how the service works today and may change before the public launch.

1. What VeriVet does
VeriVet helps you check veterinary medicine packaging against official registries, keep stock and treatment records, and receive recalls and alerts from regulators. The app works offline and syncs when it can.
2. What VeriVet does not do
- VeriVet never states that a product is genuine or safe. It reports that no anomalies were detected, that anomalies were detected, or that the product cannot be verified.
- VeriVet does not give treatment or dosing advice. Product information comes only from the approved registry, or from a company that published it where no regulator exists, and is marked as such.
- VeriVet does not replace the label, a veterinarian, a pharmacist or the instructions of the regulator. If in doubt, ask a professional and do not use the product.
3. Your account
Give accurate information and keep your phone and password safe. You are responsible for what is done with your account. Tell us if you think someone else has used it.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not send false or misleading reports, photos or records.
- Do not try to break, overload, scrape or reverse engineer the service, or to access data that is not yours.
- Do not use VeriVet to sell or promote products that are not authorised in your country.
5. Companies and regulators
Companies must keep the data they publish accurate and up to date. Entries a company publishes itself, where no regulator exists, are marked as company-published. A regulator may remove or restrict a product in its own country. Regulators are responsible for the notices they issue.
6. What you send us
You keep your rights in what you send. You give us permission to process it to run the service as described in the privacy notice, including passing a report to the regulator when you choose to send it.
7. Availability
We work to keep VeriVet available, but we do not promise it will never be interrupted or free of errors. Scans and alerts depend on the registry data and on your connection when you last synced.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, One AiQ, Lda. is not liable for loss that results from relying on VeriVet instead of the label, a professional or the regulator, or from registry data supplied by others. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and your rights as a consumer are not affected.
9. Ending your use
You can stop using VeriVet and delete your account at any time. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or others at risk.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app or here before it applies. Continuing to use VeriVet after that means you accept it.
11. Law and contact
These terms are governed by Portuguese law, without removing the mandatory consumer protection of your own country. To contact us, use the contact page.
